Neal Triplett, President and CEO, DUMAC


Neal Triplett joined Duke Management Company in July 1999 and was appointed president in January 2007 (Duke Management Company has since been reorganized as DUMAC, Inc.). Triplett started working with public securities and hedged strategies, and eventually oversaw the Hedged Strategies investments.

Prior to completing his M.B.A. at The Fuqua School of Business at Duke University, where he also received his undergraduate degree, he was a credit officer for the corporate and real estate portfolios at Wachovia Bank. Triplett holds the chartered financial analyst designation.

Mark Corigliano founded Corigliano Investment Advisers in 2022. Previously, he worked at DUMAC, Inc., Duke University's investment management company, from 2014 to 2022, where he led the Private Investments Team managing over $14 billion and co-led the Public Securities Team. In 2009, he founded Belltower Advisors LLC, a $250 million long/short equity firm focusing on the energy, mining, and materials sectors. He began his investment career managing a $200 million natural resources portfolio at DUMAC and served as an engineer with Schlumberger in the Gulf of Mexico. Mark holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University, an M.B.A. from UNC Chapel Hill, and is a CFA charter holder. He also served as an Adjunct Professor at UNC Chapel Hill, teaching Alternative Energy and lecturing on commodity investing.

Brad Briner, NC Treasurer-Elect; Former Co-CIO, Willett Advisors


Brad Briner has 25 years of experience managing investments and recently retired as co-chief investment officer of Willett Advisors, the firm that manages assets for Michael Bloomberg. Prior to Willett, he spent 5 years at UNC Management Company and 8 years at Morgan Creek Capital Management. He studied economics at UNC Chapel Hill as a Morehead Scholar and has an MBA from Harvard Business School. He lives in Chapel Hill with his wife and four children and serves on the UNC Board of Trustees.

Eric Wolff, Portfolio Manager, Gumshoe Capital Management


Eric Wolff is the Portfolio Manager of Gumshoe Capital Management. Launched in 2023, Gumshoe Capital is a long/short equity fund that invests opportunistically in global small caps. Prior to founding Gumshoe, Mr. Wolff was a Partner and Portfolio Manager at Hawk Ridge Capital Management. He joined Hawk Ridge as a Principal in 2013 and took on increasing roles of responsibility until his departure to launch Gumshoe. Prior to Hawk Ridge, Mr. Wolff worked at Cyrus Capital and Adakin Capital. He began his career at McKinsey & Co.


Barnes Hauptfuhrer, Partner & Analyst, Sachem Head Capital Management


Barnes joined Sachem Head upon graduation from Harvard Business School in 2014. Prior to business school, Barnes spent two years as an associate at Thomas H. Lee Partners, a private equity firm with more than $13 billion in equity capital under management during his tenure, where he focused on growth investments in the consumer and healthcare industries. Prior to THL Partners, Barnes was an analyst in the Financial Sponsors Group at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. Barnes graduated from Duke University with an A.B. in Economics and History and a minor in Classical Civilizations.

Liz Weindruch, Managing Director - Diversified Alternative Equity, Barings


Elizabeth (Liz) Weindruch is a member of Barings’ Diversified Alternative Equity team, serves on its investment committee, and is responsible for originating and underwriting fund, co-investment, and secondary opportunities globally. Liz has worked in the industry since 2004. Prior to joining the firm in 2015, she was with the Wells Fargo Investment Institute where she led the strategy, diligence, and implementation efforts for private equity and private real estate products across the alternative investments platform. Prior to that, she served in a similar role at Citi Private Bank, and prior to that, she underwrote funds and co-investments at Brooke Private Equity Associates. Liz holds a B.A. in political science from Davidson College and serves as Trustee/Head of the Investment Committee for the Heifer Foundation.

Jack Purcell, Managing Partner, Ridgemont Equity Partners


Jack is a Managing Partner and member of the Management and Investment Committees at Ridgemont Equity Partners. He is primarily responsible for general management of the firm and additionally focuses on the group’s investment activity in the Business & Tech-enabled Services and Industrial Growth sectors, serving on the boards of a number of Ridgemont’s portfolio companies. Jack joined Banc of America Capital Investors, the in-house private equity arm of Bank of America and predecessor partnership to Ridgemont, in 2002 and led investments across a variety of industry sectors including industrials, business services, and healthcare. He worked in various other roles throughout his BACI tenure. Jack earned his M.B.A. from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania with a concentration in Finance and a B.A. in Economics from Davidson College.

Rachel Hannon, Partner, Summit Park


Ms. Hannon is a Partner at Summit Park and leads the firm's business development and investor relations efforts. Ms. Hannon joined the firm in 2014. Prior to joining Summit Park, Ms. Hannon was an Associate with Clark Wolf Company in New York, NY, which provides consulting services to the food and beverage industry. Previously, Ms. Hannon was a Financial Profitability Analyst at the law firm Orrick, Herrington & Suttcliffe LLP in San Francisco, CA. Prior to joining Orrick, Ms. Hannon was a Financial Analyst at Harris Williams.

Ms. Hannon received her undergraduate degree magna cum laude from Washington and Lee University. She received her master's degree with distinction in Nutrition, Food Studies & Public Health from New York University.


Langdon Holzman, Managing Partner and Co-Founder, Banbury Private Capital


Langdon has 20+ years of experience in the aerospace & defense and industrial sectors, focused on middle-market private equity and corporate finance transactions. Prior to co-founding Banbury, Langdon was a Managing Director and Head of the Aerospace Investment Banking practice at SunTrust Robinson Humphrey (STRH). Before STRH, Langdon ran the Aerospace Investment Banking Practice at Wells Fargo Securities and worked in the Industrials group at Credit Suisse First Boston.

Langdon graduated with a B.A. in Economics from Duke University and an M.B.A. from Emory University’s Goizueta School of Business. Langdon currently serves on the board of directors for all of Banbury’s portfolio companies. He and his wife have two daughters and live in Charlotte, NC.
